Safety and product disclaimer

Theseus, the Panoptes display and the Theseus Helm app are there to make your ride more enjoyable. They do not replace your craft's own gauges and warning lights, and their readings and alerts are for information only. Riding distracted is dangerous: keep your eyes on the water. The display asks riders to acknowledge this before use.

Maps and go-to directions are NOT FOR NAVIGATION: they show a straight-line bearing and distance, not a route, and there is no depth data. Map data is from OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL), and US chart-derived data is labeled not for navigation. No-wake areas are shown as a guide only, from public sources with their date; the data may be incomplete, and where there is none the display says so. Always follow posted signs and local rules.

Fuel range is an estimate of the minimum time to reserve, never a countdown to empty, and it is not shown until it has been calibrated. Theseus does not offer live tracking of your craft or tracking of a parked craft, and it cannot guarantee that a stolen device will be recovered.

You install the ION module and the Panoptes display yourself, and you are responsible for installing them correctly.
